General meaning
A wand can stand for power, both physical and mental. In some decks the wands have young shoots near the tip, which show beginnings and growth as well.
The Wands are generally the Fire suit. They show the energy that creates new things, sparks things off, or even brings something to life. Put another way, they’re like ideas, inspiration and drive.
The Wands also show work: work that keeps moving and keeps creating something new.
Because they’re Fire cards, a lot of Wands in a reading means you’ll have plenty of energy for things during that time. You’ll feel fired up. But too many can make you overconfident, and sometimes you might decide or do things without thinking them through first.
The court cards of the Wands are mostly fired up, driven, and always full of fresh ideas. When they want to do something, they do it right away, sometimes without thinking it through first. They’re bold, ready to take a risk and try new things, but they can also be impatient and quick to get annoyed.
